I love the colors though, one of these days you'll have to teach me to color lineart woman. :C *srs face*
But yes! I usually will add more green to make it look more watermelon-y but this time I just wanted it to be mostly pink and brown with a hint of green, you know? But I totally understand where you're coming from.
And it's not hard or anything! I think in elements you still have the option to lock your pixels right? I just do my layer in black and then lock the transparent pixels and colour it .3. Augh I need to get you a better photoshop.
